Caroline Hirons x SpaceNK Beauty Box

[unpaid/ad/sample/affiliate/event] The big reveal for Caroline’s second box with SpaceNK was held last night over dinner – I think it’s even better value than last time and is based around Caroline’s skin care favourites.

The contents – and price – are unashamedly luxury. Cutting straight to it, it’s £125 for over £400 worth of product so for skin care buffs, it represents months worth of complexion enhancing goodies. I know most of the products, so I’ll skip through them all in a little more detail.

Having said that I know most of the products, I haven’t actually used any of these although I’m straight in on the Oskia Liquid Mask and will give it a full review in due course. It’s got 10% lactic acid and is for overnight use – I’d expect to see smoother skin literally after one use. Super Glow from Tan Luxe is next – and weirdly, I had a friend asking me if I had any she could try because she’d heard such great things about it. I did have one so she tried it and loved it enough to head off to buy her own. I’m nervous about using facial self tan – it’s not like you can easily undo a suddenly orange face should it all go wrong. I also hear great things of Dr Dennis Gross Eye Serum and really rate Dr Gross products although personally don’t like the way they talk about women’s skin. Finally, in this picture, Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream by Sunday Riley which is basically a big burst of hyaluronic that should work for anyone wanting more hydrated, and therefore plumped, skin. It’s £60 value on its own.

I’ve recently used the Chantecaille Gold Mask and wow – it was the perfect thing pre-foundation for making my skin look super smooth (and my foundation, I swear, lasted longer) so I’ll do a more thorough review of both that and the Jasmine & Lily Healing Mask for stressed skin that needs some calming and soothing. I get very distracted by their lovely make up and rarely think of Chantecaille for skin care. Kate Somerville Goat Milk Cleanser – beautiful – nothing to complain about here especially if you don’t like cleansing balms or micellars. It’s a creamy cleanser that has more weight than micellars and less weight than balms. REN Clean Screen I think you all know already as I’ve reviewed it recently – just a super day cream, especially if you have oily skin, to keep the sun off your complexion. I don’t know the Votary Super Seed Oil but 21 different super seed oils in one bottle feels impressive. It’s good, apparently, for redness and irritated skin.

The Oskia Lactic Acid and the Chantecaille Mask are the things I’m most looking forward to using – and reviewing – but I’d really suggest not waiting for my reviews because I have a feeling this will sell out quickly. It’s a big outlay but the value is outstanding – I’d rather have these trusted product full sizes than lots of little pots (and I say that as someone who guiltily loves a little pot) – I’d go sooner rather than later if you’re interested in having one for yourself. I should also mention that it’s heavy – it’s not one I’d like to be dragging around all day so perhaps buying on line is better unless you’re feeling strong! It’s HERE, non affiliate HERE.
